Sooooo.....I'm quitting my well paid(for someone my age) job to become a field organizer for the Obama campaign at a whopping 325 dollars a week.
My best friend thinks it's a really stupid idea. But I think that's only cuz he's a republican and he knows my swag will convince people to vote Obama and win VA for the blue guys.

He really doesn't. He can afford to lose one of the 4 closest swing states(Romney has to win all 4 to win), but Obama needs at least 2 of them. VA is one of those swing states. And that popular vote will be won or lost in NOVA.

What happens after the campaign? If you had a job that you knew with out a doubt you would get afterwards then it doesn't sound like a bad idea.
