Got A Call To Be A Fulltime SAC Teacher

At an Alternative school for a contract position but I dont know if i should take it. The pay would be a little more than I make now but I dont know if its worth it cause the i get paid every week at my job now and if yall know how contract teachers get paid then you know them checks dont come on time. What is a ? to do????

i mean if you can deal with hard headed/troubled kids, more power to you. but dont do it if your heart aint in it, that trumps most objections

SAC is for 'Student Alternative Center'. It's where bad kids who act up in normal class get put out to when they can't go to the principal's office. They had this ? when I was in middle school about 15-18 years ago.
Basically, you'd be a warden. -
Its bad when you have to weigh out how dangerous the kids will be.

none of these kids were dangerous... they did happen to be all black though. One of them was just hyperactive. Another had some anger issues, but I think she didn't get enough attention at home because she wanted all my attention THEN they brought in a cop to talk to this 10 year old girl, and it was clear it wasn't the first time it had happened. wtf.
This just strengthens my belief that some people should be banned from raising kids.
