Smdh @ racist tea party/republican ? .. I'm tired of their racist ? .. and how they continue to get away with it.. also Smh @ CNN for trying bury the story.. Because they don't want to make a bunch racists mad...
An attendee at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday allegedly threw nuts at a black camerawoman working for CNN and said “This is how we feed animals” before being removed from the convention, a network official confirmed to TPM.
The CNN official declined to confirm specific details of the incident to TPM but generally confirmed an account posted on Twitter by former MSNBC and Current anchor David Shuster: “GOP attendee ejected for throwing nuts at African American CNN camera woman + saying ‘This is how we feed animals.’”
It is not clear whether the alleged culprit was a delegate or attending the convention in some other capacity.
In a written statement, CNN addressed the matter but divulged few details: “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”
TPM’s calls to RNC and convention officials were not immediately returned.

CNN tries to bury RNC racism
News network confirms the abuse of a camerawoman at the Republican Party Convention, but downplays its significance.
Talking Points Memo broke a story last night highlighting the dark side of the Republican Convention:
An attendee at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday allegedly threw nuts at a black camerawoman working for CNN and said “This is how we feed animals” before being removed from the convention, a network official confirmed to TPM.
CNN confirmed the incident, releasing a written statement saying:
CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.
It can't be just me who finds the wording of this statement problematic.
If this had happened between two third parties, CNN would have used it to lead the evening bulletin. Instead, it comes across as an attempt to shut the story down to please its hosts. Referring, for instance, to an "incident" seems to diminish the seriousness of the event (which is, after all, a truly disgusting example of racism - the sort which many in the party are keen to pretend no longer exists), while there is no attempt at all to support their employee. Maybe she has her own feelings on the matter - it could be that she requested the whole thing be played down - but we can't know that.
Instead, CNN seem to be trying their hardest to spin for the Republican Party.
Smdh @ racist tea party/republican ? .. I'm tired of their racist ? .. and how they continue to get away with it.. also Smh @ CNN for trying bury the story.. Because they don't want to make a bunch racists mad...

Not surprising.
Poor white trash would rather support the Republican party than associate with the party that would benefit them the most, solely because of their own racist hangups.
Stay poor white trash then. -

From what I've heard about their ratings, they could use any boost they can.
They must be afraid of being denied access or something.

Actually there is truth to what he's saying. You'd be surprised how many poor white people are out there voting against their interests because the Republicans sell them this dream that one day they might be rich and when they become rich, the Democrats are going to take all their money.
Remember, that was the whole "Joe the Plumber" deal. Dude was basically saying that one day his business was going to take off and he'd be making a lot of money and when he did he didn't want Obama to take it all in taxes.

They also said that Gabby Douglas looks like a nappy headed Harriet Tubman.
