Can you be a fan of a rappers music but dislike the rapper?

I started thinking about this after I read Lupes Rolling Stones interview. I think he is one of the most talented artists in Hip Hop. His only bad album was Lazers and that was because of lable politics. After reading the interview he came across as being very arrogant and bitter. I think if he continues to act this way he may lose fans instead of gaining new ones.
Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. If I like the music, I like the music. I don't know these people personally. The only artists that I don't like and won't ever support are Ray J just because and Eminem because I really believe he is or was an undercover racist.

The only rapper I ever disliked but kinda enjoyed their music was 50 cent around 03-04. -
I guess it depends on what they do and if it gets in the way of you separating the music from the man. If you get into preaching your aspect on living on songs, then you should really live like that. Idk if Lupe ever said he was a nice guy, or that he wasn't self centered to a degree.
