Do you have to relate to a rapper to be a fan?

I mean do you only listen to rappers that you agree with 99% of what they say and their beliefs?
I'll give an example Im a christian but Im a fan of K-Rino who is a professed muslim!

    Not at all..for me it's a bonus whenever I can relate to an artist, but it's not a requirement for me to enjoy their music..

    nah, relatability is a big thing as far as where you from, your local slang, and the music that you used to listening to go.
    but, i listen to some of everything if the artist know how to flow over the beat, and the beat sound good.

    it's even a couple of christian rap artists and chicano rap artists who come tight that i'll listen to. but if some dude say some totally off the wall weird stuff, I tune out.
