Total incompetence - This country needs leadership. I'm an independent & those little snippets from one senator don't represent me - the bottom line is still the same - I DON'T LIKE the direction/path this country is headed down - SO! whatever that makes me? RACIST, BIGOT,HATER I couldn't careless.....btw I'd say the same thing to your face or anyone for that matter - THIS PRESIDENT IS INCOMPETENT & his egotism will destroy America -(aka) transform America.

why is it you guys never give any specific on this all consuming insidious "transformation" President Obama plan on doing to U.S.?

Here you --- I agree with this 200 per cent

In 2008, the only hint of Obama being a Socialist and his intentions of redistributing wealth were his arguments with Jo the plumber. The media didn't reveal that fact that Barack Obama taught Alinski 101 at the University of Chicago or that the Communist Party USA had endorsed him. Most Americans didn't have a clue about George Soros or even know who he was.

You may noticed that Obama is not using those two words this time around. He knows damn well that it would be like saying, "Fooled ya, didn't I?".

Now his campaign has resorted to the word "Forward". If you look at political tyrants in history who have used that word as their catch phrase, it will send a chill up your spine.

    Transform (trans-form)

    1. to alter or be altered radically in form, function, etc.

    2. (Physics / General Physics) (tr) to convert (one form of energy) to another form.

3.to change the appearance or nature of completely.

    Socialism (so·cial·ism)

    1. Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.

    2. The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved.

NOW -- a.mann tell me that Mister President hasn't talked about COLLECTIVE SALVATION repeatedly in his past & his overall ideology is about collective salvation. huh! the parallels are so obvious - wow! HE'S never talked about individuals & individual accomplishments - yeah it's those bridges and highways & other entities that made those individuals successful - LMAO!

Just how damn long did it take for Vietnam veterans to get compensation for exposure to agent orange - how many still suffer? how many died before it was determined said exposure caused there death? Our government moves very slowly - READ the info within the link I provided & stop claiming these folks aren't being compensated...of course you'll blame the republicans - but the bill was approved.

Since most won't read - here's a snippet from the article above - SO how is that women aren't getting equality within the job market - Obama is playing politics as usual - you gotta scare folks. OH yeah! his VP is also scaring folks by implying that the Republicans wanna put folks back in chains.....WTF?

Female physicists are getting $6,500 more [than men]. Co-eds who majored in petroleum engineering are being offered $4,400 more. And women computer programmers are being enticed with $7,200 extra pay. In fact for dozens of majors and occupations, women coming out of college are getting better offers than men . . . .

The Democratic party is spreading fear & hysteria - women aren't losing ground and they aren't losing in the employment field - what civil rights have women lost? - This administration is telling bolded faced lies & scare folks - man-O-man the information superhighway is so helpful & I do check things out - every coin has two sides - just like every damn thing Obama claims that others are doing - I CHECK IT OUT & SOME OF U haven't got the courage to face those facts.

Senate GOP blocks veterans jobs bill

    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57517160/senate-gop-blocks-veterans-jobs-bill/

    September 20, 2012
(AP) WASHINGTON - Senate Republicans blocked legislation Wednesday that would have established a $1 billion jobs program putting veterans back to work tending to the country's federal lands and bolstering local police and fire departments.

Republicans said the spending authorized in the bill violated limits that Congress agreed to last year. Democrats fell two votes shy of the 60-vote majority needed to waive the objection, forcing the legislation back to committee.

Supporters loosely modeled their proposal after the President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Civilian Conservation Corps used during the Great Depression to put people to work planting trees, building parks and constructing dams. They said the latest monthly jobs report, showing a nearly 11 percent unemployment rate for veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, merited action from Congress.

GOP blocks COLA on benefits for disabled veterans and survivors

    http://www.examiner.com/article/gop-blocks-cola-on-benefits-for-disabled-veterans-and-survivors

Despite what has traditionally been overwhelming support both in the past and unanimous support earlier this year in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Chairperson of the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs announced on Thursday that at least one Republican Senator was holding up a bill which would provide a cost of living adjustment (COLA) on benefits for disabled veterans and the spouses and children of deceased veterans.

The 1.9 % increase in compensation for 2013 in the Veterans’ Compensation Cost of Living Adjustment Act matches the planned 2013 Social Security benefit COLA and is merely “designed to offset inflation and other factors that lead to the rising cost of living,” according to a statement released by Democratic Senator Patty Murray of Washington on the official website of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.

Lol, well I thought that the link was informative and clarifying.

It's funny when people misuse the reaction system. Too many times I've seen poster A post a legitimate post, but poster B gives poster A a negative reaction just because poster B caught feelings or because poster B got salty. Bird brained ? . Like if you going to nosign someone, cool. But at least have a legit reason. Otherwise, you just look silly. Probably why I don't fukc with reactions anyway.

Anyways, given it's entire context, what McConnell said might unfortunately be within his rights if his reasons are legitimate. Congress members aren't supposed to just flat out obey the President. Their job is to work with the President, and that sometimes includes fighting with him, let alone with each other. If a Congress member feels that the president is enitirely uncompromising, I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to see that same president have a second term. The problem is that McConnell might be the one who is actually entirely uncompromising. And the way he worded what he said might've been a reflection of his own prejudice and recklessness.

So I'm not surprised McConnell said what he said. Democrats would probably be saying the same thing if McCain was in office. This is just nothing more than the partisan stubborness that's dividing America. If America ever has another civil war, I would be very surprised if the perpetrators weren't the same ones that caused the first one.
