Sometimes an NFL player can parlay decent play or one big year into an elite level contract. These ten stand out for such feats in 2012. Salary figures include salary and bonus money each player is due this season.

Good linebacker, but the second-highest paid defensive player in the league?Harris has been All-Pro once (second team in 2009) in five years.

League’s second highest paid linebacker has been a steady performer for eight seasons but never an All Pro.
Johnathan Joseph-Houston Texans

Really the list isn't that bad To me Holmes, Rice, CJ2k, Williams are the only guys that are overpriced.

thats mainly b/c SF doesn't throw the ball alot(that '09 PB season I'm guessing was when Norv Turner was the OC)...but im pretty sure alot would agree Davis has earned his checks and has to be one of the top 5 TE's in the league right now.... -

thats mainly b/c SF doesn't throw the ball alot(that '09 PB season I'm guessing was when Norv Turner was the OC)...but im pretty sure alot would agree Davis has earned his checks and has to be one of the top 5 TE's in the league right now....
Yep and he's one of the best blocking TE....plus he's there best receivers so he regulary gets doubled
