Back in the day before IGN & Gamefaq and etc.. b4 the internet took over essentially.. video game magz was every video game geek's ? . reviews, posters, strategy guides, cheatcodes, previews, and later on something called "demos".
This is basically a nostalgia thread on video game subscriptions what were your favorites.
EGM was cool, GamePro was the "WWE/UFC" of gaming mags I guess,,, but iw as always partial towards..
Although they seemed bias towards Nintendo, I couldnt blame them due to Nintendo being superior imo back in the day...

My dude, I still got a stack of those ? from like 92 to 98 or some madness. I remember drawing Game Players covers and selling the move lists back in the day.

I used to have a subscription to gamepro, I used to look thru tips and tricks books at the store and tear the pages out for the games I had.
And EVERYBODY used to jack them demo discs outta them playstation magazines. U aint a real ? if u didnt have a years worth of demo discs at home. ? its how I ended up buying Crash bandicoot 2 and twisted metal 2. -
i played that demo of thps for days on end. maybe one of the best demos i can remember.
