The second season, which will be known as American Horror Story: Asylum and will premiere on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 on FX. Series co-creator Ryan Murphy announced plans to change the characters and location for the second season. The setting will be an institution for the criminally insane in the year 1964, with Jessica Lange's new character as the head of the asylum. It will be themed on sanity.

Sounds boring. The only reason I was interested in the first one was because there happened to be ghost.
I guess the scare factor is going to come from the insane patients seeing things? -
I had low expectations for this season but I'm digging this so far.

The premiere was good, maybe not as interesting as last year's so far, but they got plenty of time for things to really pick up. That alien scene was dope.

I doubt they will make that same dude the main villain again
While I loved the 1st seaon it would have been hard to continue that story
It was so original and they took it as far as possible
This new ? looks real nutso.
I see it's got a political under tone about taboo love somehow -

So it looks like the good Dr. is actually the present day ? Face. And ? that dumb lesbian ? . She deserves whatever she gets.

that was completely ? up what she did. I kinda felt bad for her until she did that. that ? is crazy

Better episode but I can't seem to care about anything that was going on. The exorcism was pretty dope though.

I don't think that kid is ? face either. I think that either the doctor or the nun set him him and forced him there like they did to the reporter bc either he knew something or one of them is ? face or one of the things the doctor made was the one killing them

Honestly this ep was kinda meh but last season had a few meh set up eps too

Yea, last episode was meh. Its too much going on this season. Last season was a haunted house with ghost. Thats it.
This season, there has been asylum torture, alien ? probes, mysterious man-beasts, and now demon possession...and its only been two episoes!!

I got a feeling there will be a huge reveal
beginning to think that maybe they're in hell or something
or maybe the ppl running the asylum aren't who they claim and are all crazy -
anybody still watching this? that was a crazy twist thelast episode
