Just curious, I never seen TP play this role before and what made directors decide to use him over Denzel, Laurence or Don Cheadle. They must have not cared, I bet it would have been good as a straight to DVD flick or some ? on TNT.
I'm not bashing dude but ? looks like it sucks. How bad was it?

I saw it. There's a Marvel-esque post credits scene that you should stick around for.The ? that plays Mr. Brown in all his films is set set up to be the villain. His name Ashy Larry Jankins Jr. Esq III. His weaknesses: Lotion and pants that fit. ? gon be hard cuh.

I got dragged to it. My wife was set on going to the movies, and that's what she chose. It wasn't terrible. I don''t really think Perry is a horrible actor, so it's not that big a surprise that he could be in something like that. That said, he still wasn't the best choice. He kinda softened the whole ? and I really wasn't convinced. I think the movie as a whole would have been better if someone else was the lead. They weren't stupid though. They were trying to get that TP fanbase.
