dont ask why im thinking about this now ha.
it was a thread where some dude made a joke that you could consider " corny"..and she said i can see why you only fkk with white girls....implying his corny jokes = him being a corny dude = him only dating white chicks that tend to date corny black men..
i've always had a problem with the word corny since its always associated with black men that have some "whiteness" or rather "otherness" to them..their sense of humor, their hobbies, music you listen to, the way they dress...being different from other stereotypical black dudes = being considered corny most times
and its true that more you're different from other black dudes the more you have in common with white folks most of the time..hence you interact with them more..and as a result find yourself in relationships with white chicks...
so in your personal experience....is it often the corny...or otherwise lame(however you want to define that) brothas that end up with more white chicks in their dating history than black chicks?

Naw, unfortunately some people generalize ''real'' black men as oversexualize, loud, threatening,hyper-masculine,etc. It's that one size fits all mentality that plagues black men.
As for only corny black men go after white women, that's totally ? nonsense. I think people date people according to their environment, especially in college. It's a lot of none corny black dudes in college who holler at white ? and they aren't on no Carlton Banks ? either. -

You pretty much summed it up though, not necessarily corny (although there are some that do fit the bill) but just different. I can speak with a black guy that ? with white girls, and I mean really ? with them not just ? them, and see why he goes that route. There is usually something about him that probably wouldn't make him as desireable or 'cool' to peers of his own race.
