Will any of the “experts” admit they were wrong about Freeman and Jackson this year?

What the “experts” were saying before the season officially began:
From Sports Illustrated Fantasy Football 2012 :
In their list: “Busts: 15 Potential Failures (pages 26-29),” Vincent Jackson listed at #3 and Josh Freeman is listed at #13.
Their write-up of Freeman (on page 53) in the QB section:
Their write-up of Jackson (on page 75) in the WR section:
For the synopsis of the Bucs as a team, their “one to get, one to forget” two players, two directions, has this (on page 147):
This trend of undermining Freeman's ability to take another step with Jackson, continued amongst several other magazines.
So far this season, both players are on pace to surpass their previous career highs:
Freeman’s previous was from 2010:

Jackson’s previous was from 2009:

Their write-up of Freeman (on page 53) in the QB section:
“The owner of last season’s second worst touchdown-to -interception rate finally has a go to receiver (Vincent Jackson). But now he must learn another offensive system (his fourth in seven years, including college), this one installed by new coordinator Mike Sullivan, formerly of the Giants. Sully may be able to work his Eli Manning magic with Freeman eventually, but not this season.
Their write-up of Jackson (on page 75) in the WR section:
“Tampa Bay’s signing of Jackson was a happy moment for quarterback Josh Freeman, who finally has a high-caliber target, but can Freeman get Jackson the ball? V-Jax’s stellar career numbers came with Philip Rivers doing the passing, and Freeman hasn’t shown he’s in River’s league. A slight drop in Jackson’s numbers would be reasonable to assume.
For the synopsis of the Bucs as a team, their “one to get, one to forget” two players, two directions, has this (on page 147):
“Bust, Vincent Jackson. Jackson wanted to get paid, so he has left San Diego and now his stats will pay the price. Quarterbackwise, he goes from Philip Rivers to Josh Freeman, which means he’ll go from fantasy stud to fantasy dud.”

no such thing as a fantasy football expert. imo.
they are no different than any other owner of a fantasy team. -
Exactly. How Matthew Berry gets on tv is beyond me. Nice work if you can get it though.

Agreed, I find they give out more wack advice than good advice. Your better off making your own choices.
And no they won't apologize for it. -
This magazine covering fantasy football isn't the issue, it's the subtle dismissal of Freeman's ability as a QB, in spite of the upgrades that were made at several positions.
-
But will they make the playoffs

well after last year, losing however many straight games, and then a new coaching staff coming in this year, i don't think it was unreasonable to think that the Bucs were still at least a year away from competing. -
There won't be an apology, but their silence is enough.

and in the fantasy "experts" rankings...the sports illlustrated staff composite (whatever that is) is ranked 70th out of 90 and the dudes from SI are ranked 83/90 and 85/90
and they weren't much better the previous year either

Must hurt when people mathematically show you how you're failing at your job.

actually, it was a completely normal game from my perspective -
These so called "experts" are on the same level as any other sports fanatic. They're just on TV and shake hands with the players and coaches.

This is a "special" SI does every year.
The content in this issue, comes from the same senior writers and editors that cover the NFL year round.
