10) THE MINNESOTA WRECKING CREW (GENE and OLE ANDERSON)
Cage Match- Ric Flair & Greg Valentine vs MINNESOTA WRECKING CREW (Ole & Gene Anderson)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGkHOdSukgQ&playnext=1&list=PLBE087502F0DAC168&feature=results_video
From NWA Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling 1976 or 1977 (?)- Highlights are shown as Ole and Gene Anderson face off against Ric Flair and Greg Valentine within the confines of a steel cage. The NWA World Tag Team Titles are at stake. This "arena footage" does not include commentary
There 3 Versions of THE MINNESOTA WRECKING CREW the 1st incarnation of LARS ANDERSON & GENE ANDERSON then the 2nd of GENE ANDERSON AND OLE ANDERSON and The Third of OLE ANDERSON and ARN ANDERSON but the Best Incarnation is of GENE and OLE ANDESON.
Gene Anderson formed the original Minnesota Wrecking Crew with Lars Anderson in 1966. They wrestled throughout the country in the late 60's until Lars left to live in Hawaii. In 1969 Gene then brought in Alan Rogowski, and renamed him Ole Anderson.
They dominated tag team wrestling in the 1970s, winning the NWA World Tag Team Titles 8 times. Over those years, Lars Anderson was on occasion brought back in as part of this team.
The original Minnesota Wrecking Crew.
The Andersons would wear their opponents down and beat them to a pulp.
And then they would make them submit, not pin them.
How humiliating

Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith vs Terry Gordy and Stan Hansen. Classic match with four legends in Japan.
The team consisted of real-life cousins, Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid. The two made their wrestling debuts in England as a tag team based on their family relations.
The Bulldogs were eventually invited, by Bruce Hart, to join Stampede Wrestling in their early tag team years around 1983 to 1984.
As well as the Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs would join the WWF following Vince McMahon’s purchase of Stampede Wrestling.
Both teams have had past feuds in Stampede Wrestling that definitely helped elevate both teams in their new setting.
After moving on from their feud with the Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs would go on a year-long quest to become Tag Team Champions.
They achieved their dream after several failures on the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania II.

7b) THE BRISCO BROTHERS
The Brisco Brothers won 20 tag team championships
1982.02.28-GCW-Jack Brisco & Jerry Brisco vs Stan Hansen & Ole Anderson [NWA TAG TITLE TOURNEY]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ivUKo75oJ0
Jack and Jerry Brisco were born as Freddy Joe and Floyd Gerald Brisco in Blackwell, Oklahoma to a single mother with four other siblings. They were standout amateur wrestlers at the Oklahoma State college, winning multiple championships and accolades. Jack in particular achieved a measure of fame when he won the NCAA Wrestling National Championship in 1965. Jack was the first Native American to win this championship, and even more shockingly, won it in his junior year without having a single point scored on him the entire season. Jack would have gone onto the Olympics Team and may have been called the single greatest amateur of all time if not for one reason; money. Jack had to support his family, and professional wrestling provided the opportunity to make money. Jerry would follow shortly after, and the rest is, literally, history.
Starrcade The Collection (16) Brisco Brothers vs Jay Young Blood Ricky Steamboat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWqzvXmVXRg
Adapting from the legitimate competition of amateur wrestling to the sports spectacle of professional wrestling as well as anyone, the Briscos became two of the stand-out wrestlers of the 1960's until the mid-1980's. Both had brilliant fundamentals, fantastic conditioning, amazing mat sense and psychology, and the toughness and tenacity of true fighters. If you wanted to brawl, you would taste their left hands over and over again until you regretted that decision. And if you wanted to wrestle, you were going to get schooled. They would stretch you out, and wear you out, and both of them (especially Gerry) would badmouth you the whole time. No wrestler had an easy time with either Briscoe, but it usually resulted in the best match of the night.

THE BRISCO BROTHERS GREATEST TAG TEAMS OF ALL TIMES
As individual performers, they both had tremendous success, but as a tag team, they were the very best in the business at the time. Holding over twenty tag-team titles over two decades in every major territory in the NWA, the Briscos feuded with every top tag team of their era. Their most famous rivalry was with fellow wrestling brothers Terry and Dory Funk, Jr. The battle between the two sets of brothers raged throughout the seventies as they each sought to prove they were better. In 1983, they had their last major feud as a team against Ricky Steamboat and Jay Youngblood, and would battle them over the NWA Tag Team Championships at the inaugural Starrcade event.

7A) TERRY & DORY FUNK JR
Despite not being strictly bond as a tag-team like their rivals Brisco brothers, Dory Jr & Terry Funk still set some important records in wrestling history, being both traditionalists with a sight to their father Dory’s lessons and innovators to wrestling moveset and to approach to ring action: Dory Jr as the inventor of Texas Cloverleaf submission hold, Terry has one pioneer of ? wrestling.

The Funks were one of the few brothers can be considered a life-long tag team, as they started teaming in Texas soon after their debuts and had their last match as a tag team in 2005, over 40 years later. During that run, they had a very successful All Japan run from the early 70s through the late 80s. Together the Funks would win the NWA International Tag Team Championship on three different occasions, the first time in 1971 and the last time in 1973. They would have an even greater success in the Real World Tag League, which was All Japan's premiere tag team tournament. In 1977, the first year of the tournament, they defeated Abdullah The Butcher and The Sheik to win the tournament. In 1979 they edged out Giant Baba and Jumbo Tsuruta to win the tournament and in 1982 they topped Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen to win it for the third time. After no longer teaming in All Japan after 1990, on October 8th, 2001 they teamed in New Japan but lost to Bob Backlund and Tatsumi Fujinamii

6) ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS
The Rock 'n' Roll Express are a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. The duo began teaming together in Memphis in the early 1980s, followed by Universal Wrestling Federation (known as Mid-South wrestling at the time), and then the National Wrestling Alliance's Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP). In JCP, they held the NWA World Tag Team Championship four times. They also feuded with the Four Horsemen alliance. In the late 1980s, they were contenders for the American Wrestling Association's AWA World Tag Team Championship. By 1991, the team was losing steam, and Morton turned on his partner to join the York Foundation alliance in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). In the 1990s, however, the team reformed in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, where they held the SMW Tag Team Championship ten times. The duo also worked in the World Wrestling Federation and WCW

Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson have had great matches with the likes of the legendary Four Horsemen and The Heavenly Bodies. Much as the teams above, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson are a tag-team who can get a crowd working just by stepping into a ring, tag-team legends of old-school wrestling, and will definitely go down as one of the best.

The tag team of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard joined the WWF in 1988 from Jim Crockett Promotions, where the two men had wrestled as part of the Four Horsemen stable and had won the NWA World Tag Team Championship twice. As a team, Anderson and Blanchard are regarded by WWE as three-time world tag team champions, having won the WWF Tag Team Championship during their time in the WWF.

Tully and Arn won the NWA World Tag Team Championship on September 29, 1987 by defeating the Rock 'n' Roll Express after The Midnight Express attacked Ricky Morton prior to the match. They were immediately challenged by the Road Warriors to a title match at Starrcade '87 in the LOD hometown of Chicago. Despite a hostile pro LOD crowd, the Horsemen retained the titles on a reverse decision.

Two of the original Four Horsemen, Tully & Arn put on a tag-team wrestling clinic every time. They excelled at keeping their opponents in their corner and cheating behind the referee's back. After winning the NWA tag team title twice, they jumped to the WWE and finally ended the long reign of Demolition. Their separate finishers were a slingshot suplex by Tully and a spinebuster by Arn. At Wrestlemania 5 against Strike Force, they destroyed Tito Santana with a huge spike piledriver.

They have managed to break tables as well as winning championships where ever they go. They are the only tag team in the history books to have won the WWE, WCW, TNA, ECW and IWGP tag team championship.
They managed to create dozens upon dozens of infamous and memorable moments along their way. Mostly by putting their opponents through tables or Powerboming 75yr old women of the titan tron.
Their unity and chemistry are really shown in the ring, they are able to worth with nearly any tag team you put them against.

3) THE STEINER BROTHERS
The Steiner Brothers are the professional wrestling tag team of American brothers Robert "Rick Steiner" Rechsteiner and Scott "Scott Steiner" Rechsteiner. The brothers wrestled as amateurs at the University of Michigan. The team debuted in 1989, and competed in promotions such as Extreme Championship Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation, winning in the process 10 World Tag Team and one United States Tag Team Championships

Nowadays, when you hear the name 'Steiner' you think 'Big Poppa Pump' 'The Genetic Freak' The Big Bad ? Daddy.' You think simply of Scott Steiner. However, before Scott Steiner was a successful singles competitor, he was even more successful as a tag-team with his real life older brother, Rick Steiner.
The Steiner Brothers are known mostly for their time spent in WCW during the 90's where they engaged in a legendary feud with Doom; Ron Simmons and Butch Reed, as well as many other tag-teams on the scene at the time. The Steiner Brothers have also wrestled in the WWF/E, as well as having MUCH success across the pond in Japan, which in my opinion is really where they shined the most

One of the most electrifying and death-defying teams in sports entertainment was born in Bay City, Michigan, as hulked-up brothers Scott and Rick Steiner dominated the competition on the University of Michigan wrestling team. After leaving college, the brothers turned pro, and the tandem went on to revolutionize the sport forever. Combining a hard-hitting style with amazing agility, the brothers are the only team in history to have won the WWE, WCW and IWGP Tag Team Titles. With Rick's incredible power and Scott's innovative offense (the Frankensteiner is named after him, don't you know), their feuds with Harlem Heat, the Outsiders, and Money, Inc. are the stuff of legends. Appearances in ECW only served to increase their fame, and after a split in 1997 the duo have recently reformed in TNA, with Scott and Rick as muscle-bound and deadly as ever.

All Japan Pro Wrestling Unifide World Tag team Championship Match
In 1990, All Japan chose to take the two American tough guys and put them into a tag team. Steve Williams and Terry Gordy became the Miracle Violence Connection and became the deadliest tag team in the world. They were never huge in the United States but who cares? Wrestling was bigger in Japan than it ever was in America, so their reign there was even more impressive. Japanese crowds know what is great and Miracle Violence was great.
