Dre got the goat cosigns. Everybody that gives their accounts from him first reaching out to them act like ? called them on the phone. ? 's like the rap game's Phil Jackson or something.

Jay-Z found Lupe mad early too, like 2002. I think he even thanked him in the BP2 booklet.

Actually that last one, it worked both ways
It legitimize Jay to a bigger fanbase in the South / Midwest - where UGK always had the most love , and also the West Coast (to an extent)
It also legitimize UGK to the East Coast (and the NY media) as being bonafide rappers.
That was one of the rare hiphop cases where a cosign went both ways.

Im glad Texas groups legitimised our part of the rap game!
I feel like Texas should utilize its lyrical vets using the younger hotter artists with music hooks and bars!
