My girls engaged...yay?
shes 18. hes 18.
thing is they break and makeup literally once every 2 months, been together a year.
i just feel like this is a massive fail waiting to happen.
she told us to just be happy for her, and be positive, but i feel like i have to say something cos this is just stupid.
Shes a very beautiful girl with alot of potential, i dont wanna see her in 10 years with 3 kids and a divorce.
orr should i just shut my nosy ass up and smile?
what would u do?

I need her pics to give an informed opinion

Nothing you say will make her change her mind, just support your girl.... The only exception to this is if he´s beaitin her or cheatin on her, other than that just be happy for her.... Cuz she can be 28 and the chances of her getting a divorce will still be high...
-
Word, we need pics of her to properly evaluate the situation.

What the ? u know about life? ? and mind your business...

Goldie has a point.
Its not like she forgot about the reasons they broke up she just decided to accept them.
And if they breakup every 2 months they won't make it to the wedding anyway. -
Let her live and learn, she's more blind by the "love" right now, so you won't make clear sense to her.

If she said just be happy for me then she is politely telling you to ? and that she knows what she is getting into.

I'd tell them to have fun with that. If they inquired further I'd ask them when have they ever heard someone say marriage solved all their problems.

White people should be seen but not heard

So you gonna object at the wedding ??
Women don't like facing the inevitable too scared to be single and not being loved, so they get blinded by the light(love)
Be better off trying to explain quantum physics -

I got married young & a lot of people were against it. That only drove us closer together. Almost 7 years later & we're still together & very happy.
i have no problem with people marrying young, hoping to get hitched in my early twenties myself.
its just the constant breaking upand the fact that theyve only been together a year -
Everybody walks their own path..gotta let folks travel their own way..unless you're built to be a tour guide, you gotta let ppl walk on their own b..a good travel companion is nice but eventually there will come a time when it's time to part ways..regardless of what choice she makes, you gotta keep in mind that those are her shoes and it's her job to walk in them..your job as her friend is to support her, encourage her and assist her in her endeavors outside of your friendship..if you must say something, make it positive and genuine..that's really the only true option as a friend
