Damn, its been a long ass time since we have heard anything new from Da Brat, but the So So Def femcee returns today with a new heater called “Talk To Me”. The track is a hard hitting, rock infused track in which Da Brat talks her ? rather nicely on this one. Da Brat has been doing this for a minute, albeit sporadically, and she seems to not lost a step after these years.
The ATLien hits the track running and shows off her lyrical skills over top of an impressive, hard hitting track. Driven by a smooth guitar and vocal sample that gets some slappy, slamming drums, “Talk To Me”, is a tough one, and Da Brat excells well.
