Do think suge realize what a mistake made by ? off dre knowing that death row would still be a powerhouse now if dre wouldn't left knowing that em, 50, and kendrick lamar would be on the row now. snoop also wouldn't of left either and slaughterhouse were with suge and dre at one time so image if they all would of got together in early 2000 and dre n suge were behind the album instead of interscope. so do you think if suge could turn back time he would of just stay in the back like he was suppose to and let dre handle the music?

Dre leaving Death Row was prolly one of the biggest Hip Hop moves ever made and yes Suge is at least salty about the ? . No way he couldnt be.

Suge was never a businessman. If he was, Deathrow would still be around. You ran off the man who created the westcoast sound, one of the greatest producers ever and he wonders why he's broke now.

Suge ruined a label that was easily the greatest hip-hop record label...

Problem is Suge didnt have a business state of mind... He was too street I mean this man had a torture room in the studio he also would slap someone if they rapped for him and he didnt like it..

Suge tried be a mob boss instead of a CEO of a 500million dollar record label.

You had Dre/Snoop/and Pac on the same ? label

that's like having Jordan/Kobe/and Lebron on the same team... But Suge ruined that

Imagine the money Deathrow would have seen if Dre brought Eminem and 50 to Deathrow

The Row had so much talent...

Suge single handed ruined the best label in hip hop

    Pac/Dre/Snoop/Daz/Kurup/Nate The Great/ and maybe 50/Em/Game/and Kendrick....

This is a big thing people don't understand, Dre was gonna leave Death Row no matter what Suge did.

See, Jimmy Iovine knew Dre was a huge reason why Death Row succeeded and knowing Dre's producing and development history with NWA prior to that he knew Dre was a MVP player of Death Row. So Iovine woulda scooped Dre any way how. Just like Lyor did with Jay-Z. They offer them things like money & potential power and no matter how much blood they end up with on their hands they do it and it's done.

? forget that any business in any country can't operate without illegal or shady activities. Jimmy Iovine has alot of power. Media power, money power, got lawyers and DAs on line amongst other things. Suge prolly did take more than he deserved and acted like a bully at times but trust me that still happens to Dre right now. That's a norm in the biz. But some things Dre said happened isn't accurate.

That is the real reason Suge and all them used to call Dre out on that "he's the white mans ? " ? basically.

Jimmy Iovine was running Interscope and they was already making bread off Suge & Dre

You may be right. I don't doubt any of that but the thing is Suge still would have had access to Dre even if he wasn't signed up with Death Row anymore. He burned a bridge and his artists suffered for it. The Doggfather for instance, Suge told Snoop to scrap every beat Dre gave him for that album and ultimately the album suffered and fans were disappointed.

Smart money let's Dre do what he wants but keeps lines open to give your artists access. He blew up the bridge while he was still on it, that's foolish. More importantly he did it out of spite, not because of business and that's why he suffering right now.

Dre was and is a brand. That's why Iovine used his name and attatched it to the headphone brands. That is the reason they act like Dre just found and signed Eminem knowing that Eminem was around and was presented to Interscope and he got him together with Dre in order to get Eminem credibility and so on.

Dre is also one of hip-hop's greatest producers (read: producer, not beat maker). Death Row just had a distrubution deal with Interscope. So Iovine couldn't make as much money without Suge's hand in the ? . Death Row was owned pretty much by Harry-O, Suge and so on, other than Dre i guess.

Suge was never capable of running a multi-million dollar business...and 2ndly why should Dre break his bread three ways if he can break it two ways. Good for Dre.

Just imagine if Suge wasnt trying to run around and me the industry biggest mobster and instead focused on being a actually businessman. Just imagine how our music culture would have been if him, diddy, and dre would have came together and pooled their resources together for a distrubution label. Only if....

No biggie or 2pac death, no East Coast vs West Coast war.

The problem came when Suge wanted to be in the spotlight, he stayed out the spotlight in the beginning and let Dre do his thing, then he wanted to be famous and started coming out taking pics in bright red suits and ? , smoking a cigar mean mugging everybody.

The funny thing about Suge was when u see this ? , u thought he was going to sound like Michael Clarke Duncan and then he sounded like a regular ? Lol.

If Suge had not let his ego get in the way Death Row would have had Dre, Snoop and Dogg Pound, Lady of Rage, Michel'le, Jewel, Nate Dogg, Warren G, DJ Quik, 2pac and Tha Outlawz, 50 cent, Eminem, Slaughterhouse, G-Unit, Kendrick Lamar, Knoc'turnal, Eastwood, Spyda Loc, Danny Boy, K-ci and JoJo, Busta Rhymes, Game, Eve, Tha Eastsidaz, Doggy's Angels, The Firm, Rakim, Truth Hurts, MC Hammer, Lefteye and lets not forget Death Row East.

What these cats need to realize is that EVERYBODY can eat off of this without tryin to cut the legs off the other person. You don't see Aerosmith beefing with The Rolling Stones do you???

True. Its even been said the label's attorney David Kenner actually handled all of DeathRow's business. He's even the reason why Pac had DeathRow audited.

If it wasn't for Suge Dre would of been stuck in a messed up deal with Ruthless records. Suge's downfall is a huge part of the reason for his success. He used street tactics to get to the top. A better question would be what if Dre remained with Ruthless and Eazy

there is a lot more that was happening beneath the surface a lot of people had issues with Dre that now have made amends with him. Dre was and is still a brand to be stamped on a product regardless of his actual involvement in its creation...

This is another thing people don't get. It wasn't just that he wanted to be in the spotlight. The real reason is called marketing.

That's why Puffy started to appear everywhere with Biggie and did ad-libs on his joint. It's marketing.

Suge basically became a star himself and he used the image Death Row already had and was trying to have which was that street image. Suge's name alone and the stories that were out and rumored about him helped the company even more. It's the same ? Puffy did afterwards. He just used a different image since Bad Boy really was more of a R&B label than a rap label at the time. So Puff came out dancing, popping champagne and doing all that stunting ? .

It's all marketing duke. People don't get that.

I doubt 2Pac, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Game would have co-existed on the same label.

Another wrong fact. There issues started over real issues, not some rap ? . That's always been in the game and still is, y'all just don't know it. Suge could've acted like a sweetheart but the issues would've still happened nonetheless. Suge and Puff did business when DR first got poppin. They were cordial. The issues weren't even between 2pac and Biggie directly, nor about Suge vs Puffy directly. When will you ? learn that there is a huge underworld in the entertainment business? Especially in the rap game since alot of ? bring them around for credibility or cuz they invested in the rapper.

Sometimes i be wonder as much ? as some of yall think in here about how street yall are some of yall dont seem to have any street sense at all. Im not even a street person but i have street sense and i can see thru ? .
