dated doesn't mean bad to me. of course albums like ready to die and illmatic sound dated and like they were made in the early 90's. that's cause they were. those albums aren't going to have the same sound as watch the throne or something. lex lugar beats weren't popping in 92 and hip hop is constantly changing it's sound every 5 years or so. I think some of yall are getting dated and an albums quality dying off as years go on mixed up.
as for albums that wear off to me as the years go on I'm going to say Eminem albums
