If DC was no longer the U.S. capital, which city would best fit as the capital's new home?

I don't know why, but I feel cities like Denver, Boston or San Francisco would be the best fit.

Charlotte actually sound like a potential candidate. Not so big and dense, still has some forestry but still clearly urban, yet still has a significant value(Charlotte has one of the largest banking attractions in the country as of right now). -
Detroit.

Austin

I say this because then the crime and ignorance
would be right in the presidents face,

New York & Philly already were the capitals before D.C. (that's when there were 6 black presidents.. just not Constitutional presidents)
My vote would be Casper Wyoming -
Arlington, Virginia.

Columbus, Ohio

More likely NY, since it's one of the most popular spots, especially in the eyes of the celebs, and upper elites.

Philadelphia would be my first choice..

It should go back to New York City
