Was this the time in which Weezy would go on to dominate the market?
And what would it mean for T.I's career?

If anyone recalls the IC when this came out...even back then it was pretty much accepted that Wayne dropped a wack ass verse.
-
That was a great hip hop track on some fly ? !
-
damn, was that beyonce dancing and crip walking towards the end of the vid? GOAT
-
-
Solider was Waynes commercial coming out party IMO.
-
after this song both tip and wayne were starting to be big.
-
T.I. was getting big around 24's.

For anybody that cares..
Lender:
"body marked up like the subway in Harlem" - Wayne, Soldier..
Borrower:
"body marked up like a subway in Harlem" - Wiz, Ink My Whole Body.. -
only thing classic about this song is the video.it's just the launch of the careers of 2 of hov's illegitimate sons

Revisionists try to make this song so much more important to Wayne and T.I.'s careers than it actually was. The song was cool and all but it wasn't some huge breakthrough into mainstream.
The same people that exaggerate this song are the ones that say "Crazy In Love" made Jay-Z a bigger star. -
"If you don't see me on the block I ain't tryna hide, I blend in wit the hood, I'm camouflaged" Lil Wayne, Solider.
-
it did make me say "damn wasn't Lil Flip on this ? "
-
I only noticed Beyonce fine ass..

Lol I remember Master P catching feelings when this song dropped. He said he put Beyonce on (which is true to an extent..she was on 'Just Be Straight With Me' back in early 98 when nobody knew who she was) and she couldn't do him the justice of putting him on a song named after some ? he helped personify.
Good times. I ? with TIP heavy around this time...
