I will say welcome back was pretty legit for a clean album. But you know what happens to bad boy artists who don't retire word to biggie, the lox, tha band, danity kane, black rob, etc. Comin to jesus is the only way your soul can be safe from signin to bad boy. Jesus took mase safely away and told diddy "take that take that!"

He would of gotten replaced by the next pretty boy rapper (Nelly, Drake,etc) with soft raps. ? seriously act like Mase was that nice, the quasi ? ? slightly above average and probably the worst rapper out of Children of the Corn.

I remember Double up being one of if not thee worst follow up albums of all time. I don't know how he fell off that badly. Diddy was trippin.

Mase doesn't have impact like that. Fabolous, Kanye West, and a couple other people styles are influened by Mase but that's it. Diddy would've kept trying to upstage his own artist and drive Mase into Loon/Yung Joc territory.
