I have no preference myself with height of a girl im dating, but we all know ladies like their men taller for the most part..
But is it a problem to be like 5'4 and be dating a 7 footer? I've heard conflicting opinions; recently a female told me she steers clear of any dude over 6'6....what??

Yeah, if the girl is too short (that is the typical case since most girls are shorter) and the male is super tall...it looks weird. Looks as if you're with someone young..too young. Being short makes a female look younger than she is at times..makes me think of a kid. A 6'4" male dating a girl 4'11"??? Nah, son.
I'm 5'6" and think I look okay next to guys 6'3"+...they usually like my height. -

It's a female I see here often at the grocery store she's at least 6'7 but damn she's bad. I would date her with no problems

Just saying that if we were to see two women of relative age standing side by side then the taller one would probably look more her age than the one the height of a 4th grader.

Nah I honestly don't see it that way. I simply don't associate height with age. I'd observe mannerisms and look at the face before anything.
If the 5'7" 32 y/o looks older it's probably because she's a white and the 5'2" woman isn't. -
Extremely tall and skinny guys tend to look gangly and awkward.
Shaq has some weight on him so it kinda evens it out. -
