other is not?
Brady = Drafted late (6th round)
Kobe = Drafted late (13th pick)
Peyton = Drafted #1 Overall
Lebron = Drafted #1 Overall
Brady = Took a few years to be a starter (backed up Bledsoe)
Kobe = Took a few years to be a starter (backed up Eddie Jones)
Peyton = Started Right off the bat, and was big time right off the bat
Lebron = Started Right off the bat, and big time right off the bat
Brady = coached by who many feel is greatest coach of all time
Kobe = coached by who many feel is greatest coach of all time
Peyton / Lebron = Both had average coaches
Brady = Started winning titles early in his career with great players around him
Kobe = Started winning titles early with a great player around him
Peyton / Lebron = both questioned all through their career could they ever win the big one
Brady / Kobe = both known to be extremely clutch, Ice water in their veins, especially in the Playoffs
Peyton / Lebron = both known to be chokers, scared of the moment, especially in the playoffs
Brady = 2 Regular Season MVPs
Kobe = 1 Regular Season MVP
Peyton = 4 regular season MVPS (NFL record)
Lebron = 4 regular season MVPS (will hold the record when its all over likely)
Brady / Kobe = Both have great stats and achievements
Peyton = Has all types of crazy stats, almost every record in the record books
Lebron = Has all types of crazy stats, almost every record in the record books (or will later)
Brady = Will likely play his entire career for 1 organization
Kobe = Will likley play his entire career for 1 organization
Peyton = Was forced out of Indy due to health issues and a #1 pick
Lebron = Left Cleveland voluntarily because he wanted more help to win a ring
Tom Brady = 3 Superbowls, 2 Superbowl losses
Kobe Bryant = 5 NBA Titles, 2 Title Losses
Peyton Manning = 1 Superbowl win and 1 loss
Lebron James = 1 Title win and 2 Losses
All 4 are chasing the widely recognized Goats:
Joe Montana = 4 superbowl wins, 0 losses
Michael Jordan = 6 title wins, 0 losses
With all that said, why do many feel Brady is the Goat QB in Football, or at least the closest to the Goat, for the sole reason of the titles he's won / superbowls he's played in.... But in the NBA some already feel Lebron has leap frogged Kobe.... When Kobe has more Titles than Tom? In the moment?

LBJ never been a choker.
That's media driven.
His stats in the playoffs speak for themselves.

how is kobe drafted late but in the lottery?

the NBA is kind of a popularity contest. Lebron as great as he is is not touching Kobe till he gets more rings, and no matter what the consensus is today, in the off chance that lebron doesn't get anymore rings but shatters all records, he ain't touching Kobe, and not coming close to Jordan, all because of the rings. end of the day its not like Kobe was just a scrub who got lucky and got rings, in his prime, he was unstoppable and will always be in the discussion of the greatest ever.
now, with that said, with the way lebrons career is progressing, I have him getting ATLEAST 4 rings, probably more but at the very least 4, and at that point, with his stats, he could damn well be the greatest ever, and far surpass Kobe and be on the same pedestal with Jordan. reason why he can be regarded as good but never better then Jordan (baring some more extraordinary ? happening from lebron), is because Jordan went 6-0 in the finals. that right there is incredible to me.
but yea, short answer, i don't care if lebron ends getting 50k career points and whatever, unless he gets more rings he can't ? the top 5 of all time. this is basketball, and rings mean way more then anything else. -

Exactly, you clearly see Lebron's stats ramp up come playoff time. Meanwhile, Kobe's numbers stay the same. -
No one thinks Brady is better than Manning solely for because he has more championships, so the primary premise of this topic is wrong.
