Finally Finished HS and since I'm heading off to college (and the majority of the IC is 21+(?)) I was just asking for any tips you could throw out

^^^^^, the underline is extraordinarily powerful and important. I believe that the lack of networking is one of the major reasons as to why black people find themselves ? in the game, (even more than racism,) we don't have the ability to get ? done in a phone call. This because we haven't networked properly and we don't have those "connects."
If found that a lot of white people have "segregation Jim Crow," guilt. So in an effort to prove to themselves and others that they're not racists, they're not racist, they'll be more than willing to help a ? . BE THAT ? ! Go to those networking and alumni functions, work on your conversing and networking skills. Have some business cards and resumes handy to hand out at the networking functions, and inquire about internships. Also try to work in a dean's office or somebody else that has power and influence in your. Oh yeah, build a relationship with your professors. At Catholic this was easy to do because the class sizes were small, but if the class sizes at LSU is big, it needs to be your mission in life that your professors know you by name.Don't study so much that you neglect having a social life.
Internships and volunteering are just as important as grades. Employers want to see that you have experience and skills before they hire you.
Yet another powerful posting. You need time to yourself, to unwind, relax, and not focus on anything, if you don't, you'll burn out and become frustrated. Find some volunteering activities you can get involved with, not only will it broaden you social circle, it will show the grad school people and future employers that you did something in college other than go to class and study. PROCRASTINATION IS EVIL! PROCRASTINATION IS EVIL! PROCRASTINATION IS EVIL! You need to devote blocks of time to studying, CRAMMING DOES NOT NOT WORK! I REPEAT, CRAMMING DOES NOT WORK! If you study from the moment you get your syllabus, you won't be ? in the game come test time. Now some subjects you won't have to devote as time to. E.g. I focus most of my attention on philosophy and before I dropped it, accounting, I didn't really need to devote a gang of time to history, (because I knew a lot of that ? already,) and theology, even though some of the material was new to me, I just grasped most of and I just need to go over the parts I wasn't familiar with. Also take the classes that start at 9 A.M. 10 A.M. 11A.M. The reason being, having your first class at 12:15 and through the afternoon, kinda ? you up. When your finished with the day, you're going to want to relax for a few hours, maybe go to the gym. When you're finished with that, it might be 7 or 8 o'clock. Who's going to REALLY want to study 9, 10, 11 o'clock at night, you're not. Word, wack ass dorm mates are literally THE WOAT. My potna had issues with his and he literally wanted to slapped the ? out of the ? made mutafucka just for being.
Now I'm going to add my some tips.
1) For your writing assignments, go to the writing or tutoring lab just to have them proof read your ? . This is one of the reasons why you want to do your ? early, they'll review your ? and give you the recommend changes that need to be made. Then take the assignment to your professor and do the same.
2) If you find yourself having trouble in a subject, SEEK TUTORING ASAP! Don't let the first test and midterms come around and you're stuck with the realization that you don't know the material. Plus it gives you an excuse to holla at "Becky the Snow Bunny," and "Chun Li." Also, form solid study groups early in the semester.
3) You might find yourself having to do a group project, assume that everybody in your group is a flake and have a "backup project," ready to go, but don't tell anybody. You'll get the assignment early enough as to where you can work on in your spare time. If you find yourself having to use your backup project, you, your group, and your professor are going to have to figure out how the credit is going to be dispersed.
4) Write down due dates on the calendar and your phone.
5) For a graduation gift, have somebody get you the following items:
a) A printer. Assuming that LSU is like Catholic School, you can assume that the computer and printer equipment will have issues. Avoid this by having your own printer and paper.
b) Buy a stapler and staples.
c) For a graduation gift, have somebody in your family (i.e. mama, granny, papa, your favorite uncle or auntie,) get you two suits. A blue and and a charcoal gray, some dress shoes, and ties. If you can get more suits, DO IT! You're going to need suits for all of those networking events you're going to be going to, so you have to look the part.

It's VERY IMPORTANT that your suits have a proper fit, more than likely you'll be getting an "off-the-rack," suit (AND NOT THAT TACKY ASS STACY ADAMS ? !) You're going to have the suit jacket and pants altered for the optimum fit.
6) Luggage, another graduation gift should be a few pieces of quality luggage.

also if you know you got a test coming up dont stuff last minute, study a week plus prior in small doses so when it comes test time you only need a quick review -

Study, ? . My undergraduate experience was not typical but I could've had a 4.0 my freshman year with all those easy classes.

Sell weed. it can help you pay for books, tuition, and put you on as "that guy" on campus wit dat kush. You'd be surprised how much money you can make off students lookin' for that puff puff but too scared to go into the hood to get it.

Yo, it might sound corny but 3 things come to mind: work the hell out of those internships. Do as many as you can. Try to qualify for grants so you can have extra money. Join all those lame clubs like clubs for journalism, or business club, or even a debate team if your school has it. Those clubs equal networks, jobs, and grants. Good luck. Oh, and have fun but don't get caught if you f'n around.
