The Amsterdam News has learned, and the U.S. Embassy has confirmed, that Malcolm Shabazz - grandson of Malcolm X, was killed in Mexico.
Several reports around the circumstances of his death, stilled unconfirmed, have rummored that he died early Thursday morning, May 9, 2013 from injuries sustained after he was thrown off a building or shot as he was being robbed in Tijuana.
"I'm confirming, per U.S. Embassy, on behalf of family, the tragic death of Malcolm Shabazz, grandson of Malcolm X.Statement frm family 2 come," wrote close friend of the Shabazz family Terrie M. Williams on twitter.

Family members have confirmed his death and that he was in Mexico but have not confirmed the exact location or circumstances of how Malcolm Shabazz died.
Malcolm Shabazz is survived by two daughters, his mother and several aunts.
Malcolm Shabazz pled guilty and was found guilty of manslaughter and arson and was sentenced to 18 months in Juvenile detention. His stay was extended and he was released four years later. Years later he told the Amsterdam News that he had not set the fire.
Malcolm Shabazz was in the process of writing two books, at least one of which was a manuscript, and he was attending John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.

The grandson of civil rights leader Malcolm X was killed in Mexico, according to a report from the Amsterdam News.
The publication said the U.S. Embassy confirmed that Malcolm Shabazz, the grandson, died early on Thursday morning.
Details about his death are still sketchy, but the News says there have been unconfirmed reports he was robbed. He was either shot or thrown off a building, it added.
"I'm confirming, per U.S. Embassy, on behalf of family, the tragic death of Malcolm Shabazz, grandson of Malcolm X.Statement frm family 2 come," Shabazz family friend Terrie M. Williams tweeted.
He is survived by his two daughters, his mother, and aunts.
In February, Shabazz was arrested by the FBI while he was trying to travel to Iran to “attend a conference on Hollywoodism,” reported state-run Press TV.
In 1997, when he was 12, Shabazz set a fire in his grandmother’s house in New York City. The blaze left Dr. Betty Shabazz, the wife of Malcom X, seriously injured, according to the New York Times. She later died of injuries sustained in the fire.

Well what we DO know is he was being followed & harassed by the US government. I see a pattern with the Malcolm X family & the Shakur family in the fact the government automatically treats them like terrorist if they speak out against it. Shabazz was a bright young man trying to unite african americans. I don't believe this was just a robbery, more so another assassination on behalf of the CIA

Well I met his late Grandma, she was the real deal. She was a righteous woman. NOI/Farrakhan has been a government shill for decades. I can believe he was programmed at a young age. He *was* institutionalized at an early age.

Suarez said he was taken by the man to a separate room. Shabazz stayed in the hall. Suarez said he heard a violent commotion in the hall and escaped from the room and the bar altogether as he saw half-naked girls running away, picking up their skirts from the dance floor.
Minutes later, Suarez came back in a cab to look for Shabazz and found him on the ground outside the bar severely injured.

I know I've heard of him being involved in the fire that killed his grandmom, but Idda know about that because there might be more to that that may apply to him being a fall guy to what really happened. Just saying because if you notice when higher profile people are killed or "accidentally killed", you don't always hear the real story. Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, just a couple examples. I just don't want to rely on the general media on what happened in incidents because they HAVE control of the information that people receive.
