Major publisher not planning any new Nintendo titles.

EA is not working on any games for Wii U. Speaking to Kotaku, EA spokesperson Jeff Brown confirmed that “we have no games in development for the Wii U currently.”

This follows up on recent news that Madden will not be released on Wii U this year as well as reports that Battlefield 4 engine Frosbite 3 will not support the system.

Early in Wii U’s life, EA released Madden NFL 13, FIFA Soccer 13 and Mass Effect 3 for the console, and most recently released Need for Speed Most Wanted. At Nintendo’s E3 2011 press conference, EA promised an “unprecedented partnership” with Nintendo and Wii U, but Kotaku reports that Brown says the “early run of EA games on Wii U represented EA delivering on its E3 2011 partnership.”

We’ve reached out to EA about Brown’s comments and the future of development for Wii U and will update this story with any additional information we receive.

LOL. Nintendo doesn't care. This obviously isn't news to them. They didn't accept Origin as their main online service and EA is just salty. Mario alone is worth 10 EA franchises. We will see who comes crawling back to who. Business as usual.

How well did Mario fare on the N64 and GC? Need For Speed is bigger than Mario in this age as it is on two platforms.Really you are a ? fanboy. If they were not developing for the PS4 it would be a big deal right? All the LOLs cant hide your pain or save the Wii U.
