The original "Oldboy" is one of my favorite films. I don't know if they can top it with this remake. Hopefully it turns out great since Spike Lee is directing.

not feeling it at all.....
most of the scenes in the trailer simply look redone with Western actors (I know it's a remake); I just expected a lil more considering the classic of the original -

This ? is going to be corny some movies don't need to be remade.
Spike is not going to be able to match the atmosphere the original movie has. -

Well if nothing else, Spike at least makes a case for why he ? on Tyler Perry. Could you imagine TP even stepping out of his mold and trying something like this? lol that would be hillarious.

Manage your expectations fam, it's a good movie but it's not as good as some people try to make it out to be

whoever in hollywood decided to remake this needs a swift owen hart enziguri to the face.
it doesn't even look like they've bothered making it to dissimilar from the original,visually it looks identical which makes me think spike's just a hired gun here.weird choice of project for him,i don't know what he could possibly bring to this.
at least sam jackson has another crazy hair style to add to his ever impressive gallery. -

Always been a supporter of Spike's movies and this will be no different, regardless of remake.
The original Oldboy is still classic.
