They seem to be upset he spoke about it at all but seem to be even more upset he said if he had a son he would look similar to TM.

As the president you are suppose to seem unbiased and his statement to some may of came off as such. The problem with white America and why they have a issue with it is simple. Because Obama is black and so is Travon. The slightest act of unity between us makes them uneasy.

black people had issue with it b/c he rarely speaks specifically about any other murder, specifically about the murders of young, black men. white people got mad because obama spoke. it doesn't matter what he said.

Lol. They was mad because he spoke the truth.com and it hurt their feelings. But you right, why the heck would someone take offense to something when none is even offered? The president didn't take sides he just called it like it was and he 1000 percent right. as far as whites concerned, blacks is all the same and fit any given suspect description.

maybe because its possible black would have someone in high position of power that can say blacks are not treated right an no one can fire him.

It's because a lot of whites have racist views of blacks and it can range from 1-10 and blacks have racist views towards blacks as well. It's a system built to think that blacks are the cause of all the problems of society and to even think that a black boy life is important is unfathomable to some and that we should be treated as equals. There is a good enough portion in this country who believe their lives are more important due to they are white. It's a ? complex at the end of the day.

Because whites and blacks were already split on the issue so Obama giving his opinions comes off as him being "bias" even though white people are biased in this case as well.

the posters that are saying it seemed biased are correct. not that he was the only person making such biased commentary.
now, if you already hated the president, you're going to be REALLY mad; if you like the president, you probably don't see what the big deal is. so it is what it is in that regard. -

Funny I hear some of them saying he is supposed to be unbiased.. Yet they have no problem when he is talking about preventing Iran and 'nem from killing lil Jewish kids.. I applaud him for finally speaking directly to the point..
