WOW... Would anyone on the IC eat either the BLT or BBQ Chicken with DONUT buns?

The modified doughnut insanity has leapt the Atlantic. These were not home-made. They were bought in a shop, a supermarket. Obviously in the name of science I had to try them once I knew of their existence.

The BLT was alright, but inexplicably lacking in any tomato - for which they had substituted roasted red pepper, and the lettuce was lambs lettuce rather than any of that iceberg muck. Sadly the bacon was limp and floppy with uncrisped fat. The slightly greasy exterior of the doughnut did not make a happy tactile combination with the inherently greasy streaky bacon.

The BBQ Chicken was very nice if you are willing to overlook the fact that the BBQ chicken bit was quite blatantly Chicken Tikka with a bit of red. The chicken tikka with coleslaw and greasy doughnut just somehow works. Logically it shouldn't but it does.
