Best Buy’s Xbox 360 to Xbox One Game Upgrade Plan Detailed

Upgrade from current-gen to next-gen games for $10.
Best Buy has detailed its Xbox One Trade-Up Offer, allowing customers to upgrade games from current-gen to next-gen for as little as $10.
If customers purchase Xbox 360 games by a specific date, they’ll receive a $10 coupon for the Xbox One version. Before December 31st, if they decide to upgrade, they’ll be able to bring the current-gen version of the game and their receipt and will receive a Best Buy gift card worth at least $40. The gift card and coupon can then be combined to purchase the Xbox One version of the game for as low as $10.
Eligible games include Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA Soccer 14, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs. In order to qualify, players will need to purchase FIFA 14 by October 26th, Battlefield and Assassin’s Creed IV by November 24th, Call of Duty by December 5th, and Watch Dogs by December 21st. Best Buy’s program joins similar offers, including Sony’s PS3 to PS4 Game Upgrade Program and Activision offering Season Pass upgrades for Call of Duty. Multiple publishers have also confirmed an easy transition, as Battlefield stats will transfer between platforms and so will Call of Duty’s.
Best Buy is still accepting pre-orders for Xbox One, which we found out today will launch on November 22nd.
