Ever since I got Spotify and can now listen to everyone without wasting money or having to scour the net for a DL, I try to give everyone a listen before I call them wack. I tried going through Drake's catalog. I really did, but that dude is just wack. Don't get me wrong. He can spit, and some of the songs he makes (mostly his singles) are pretty good, but all the other ? that's on the albums is terrible.

I'm not sure what perception he's trying to see him from. His music talks a lot about women an relationships.
If he wants to be looked at a different way maybe he should add some more uplifting songs and tracks with social commentary to change peoples mind.
I'm not huge on Drake I like some of his stuff but he needs to show some more versatility with subject matter. Because his albums have been a set formula each time out -

I can definitely agree about the social commentary, if he made a few songs like that and through them in with some heartfelt issues that he is actually concerned with than I guess folks can stop bugging him.

He ain't thirst Nicky nowhere pn the album...He said he hates that people think that's actually his life right now just cause he chooses to make music with a certain vibe...He didn't call the album aggressive, the interviewer did...But how could you listen to "Worst Behavior", "The Language", or "Tuscan Leather" and sense no aggression...?
