Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Dame Dash allegedly left his upstate mansion a mess, after he decided to abandon it in the midst of massive debt. According to the landlord, Dash left bongs, ? laundry, jewelry, and artwork strewn about the location.
Dash, who was once worth $50 million, is in debt $162,000 in back rent for the home. He reportedly "held it hostage" for about a year before abandoning it.
"Mr. Dash simply abandoned the property," said owner Elad Yoran in his lawsuit against Dash. "When I look online, he's rolling around in a chauffeured Rolls Royce, and he's riding in a private plane. He's not living the life of someone who is trying to keep their expenses down so they can pay their obligations."
Dash has claimed he's not interested in the home because it's too cold in upstate New York. But, money is also an issue. He reportedly doesn't have the cash to even pick up items from storage.
