Well it seems google is pretty much taking over completely now. 1st They started with the copyright ? . Erasing peoples videos with music that they bought playing in the back round of their videos. Then they got hella complaints over that ? so they stopped erasing them and started to mute them(lol at this loophole google used). Next they created "vivo" where big names/famous people music videos could be uploaded(by the record label of coarse) without being taken down. Problem with this is that they censor the video so ? is just like watching it on t.v. Then they started changing the simple well liked layout to something that looks like facebook. Then they started with then advertizements and recommending videos for you to watch.
The latest thing they did like 2 days ago was force us to sign up to google+. I just went to check my inbox to see new comments on my video's and I got this message lol.
To force you even more to "merge" your youtube account with google+(basically making you sign up to google+). They made it where you couldn't make comments on videos lol. You have to sign up to google+ just to make comments on youtube now. Google+ been out for a few years but I never used it or gave a ? about what it was. Like two years ago they tried to make me merge my youtube account and I ignored like everybody else.
I came across this funny ass video this popular chick on youtube made about this situation. She ethered the ? out of google. Video only been out like 3 days and it's at a mill already.(hit the like button on her video)

I haven't logged into YouTube in a while. I can see how these changes would affect or annoy the more serious YouTubers out there though. I would think if they go too far left, they would go the way of MySpace and something else would replace it as the popular choice. That's what happens when you don't listen to the people that support you. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I didn't like that feeling but I did it anyway cause I watch a decent amount of YouTube.

They didn't force you to sign up for Google+. If you had a email with them, it automatically generated the google + profile for you.
Just folks don't be listening or paying attention to ? . Google has been saying for years that they want to integrate everything into one profile for the user. It was being implemented over time.
No one paid attention when those maphukas started "catering" advertisements to you based on your web history.
Plus if you had a gmail, then its no surprise. They've been asking you to integrate your G+ with your youtube for a while. They just now demanded that you do so or you can't use their service (oh you can watch videos, but commenting, liking etc can't be done without the G+).
Folks always wait until the gun goes off. You should know by now that Google is big brother in so many ways... -

Yeh, it's complete ? . A lot of my fave youtubers can't even interact with their viewers because of the G+ implementation. It's more of a tedious barrier than anything.

Word. I signed up for youtube with a non-Google email, so I haven't seen anything asking me to use a Google+ account.

yeah, youtube keeps asking me to change my sign up name to government name. when I deny it, they say, "Ok, but we'll ask you again next time you log on." Aggressive ? .

You should know by now that Google is big brother in so many ways...
I thought some time ago that it was revealed that Facebook was originally designed for the government to trick people into creating profiles for themselves and linking all of their daily routine, likes, and associations, so it'll be easier for Big Brother to trace you and who you deal with in case you ever ? up. The face recognition feature, in what they call TAGGING, was all that I needed as evidence that this "rumor" might be "fact".
The ability or feature to link EVERYTHING from your Facebook, Twitter, Discus, YouTube, and every other program and website that comes along into one profile is a tell-tell sign that we are being monitored. If you put personal information in one place, and it cascades to other locations/sites/profile filler, then the government has a one stop shop to know what they need to know about you. And "tagging" people in photos simply gives the government access to profile your associates, as they now have a name to a face to everyone you know or talk to online, and now they can investigate them as well.
Even if you try to not "be yourself" on the net by using a different screen name, your IP is logged to every website you hit, and if the government needed to know, they can request those IPs through a warrant or by asking the admins of the website for that information, even if they intimidate and strong arm that information, the government will get what they are looking for, because they are basically asking a branch of itself for permission to intrude, and why would the government deny itself.
Sites like Facebook, with all the features that it has, is one big profiling database; similar to the one's the feds use to find suspects in cases. They filter the information down until they narrowed it to one person. Name/nickname, school attended; name/nickname, city they lived; name, job............narrowed down to who they are looking for. That's Facebook.....
The only way to avoid being tracked and traced is to go John Conner and stay off the grid.

Cs on what someone else said, its like that if you have a gmail account. My youtube has been like that for a long ass time cause I accepted the change a long time ago.. I got used to it now and I stay signed into my email so I can always comment anyways even though I never do..

U do realize that youtube twitter facebook and etc, are not invented just for social networking. It's for network marketing, and advertising. So they make millions+ a year for business reasons. It's that people take advantage of the opportunity to socialize thru the net, but it's not going anywhere, because it's way bigger than socializing. It's a billion dollar INTERNET market industry. Reface maybe, or rename or have a competitor.
