here i am going through some random albums trying to find songs for a mix and i stumble across the BEP folder.I got ' Bridging The Gap' and Behind The Front' and i start going through them and jesus...i remember not paying much attention to them at the time because they felt too positive coming right after the whole biggie/pac ? ......like Interscope made them as a remedy of sort's.Looking at what the ? they are now, this ? is tragic to listen to...the jam's are knocking all the over the place...and they drop knowledge as well.I mean the fact that most of these songs don't even have that many views on youtube (i did some diggin) it's like 99% of their fan's now probably don't even know they were even a hip hop group to begin with.i call that ? tomfoolery.look it at this way,if they came out today and this was the kind of stuff they were releasing (and stayed on this path) wouldn't they fit in nicely?

The BEPs excelled in two forms of hip hop. Their first style was more free form, so they sounded more organic. The second one most heads don't even like, but the message was still there. The ? songs were what they were, but at least they didn't sell their integrity to the point that they were shootin ? and poisoning the youth (cept for My Humps, ? them for that song). Will still has decent production, it's just not for our ears. Remember, this is the same made that made these:

yeah but coming back to do a hip hop song once every blue moon doesn't excuse the fact that imo he is possibly the biggest sell out in all of music for the last decade or so.i kept up with his work upto a certain point, the album he did with Sergio Mendes was in heavy rotation, and that was way after post fergie BEP

his jazz head seems pretty legit, even throughout the early stuff,? hell even know the samples he uses are pretty ill but applied to the electronic ? they're just wasted.i heard one of his songs recently, not even sure what it was called but amazed that he sampled the Charleston song (yeah i'm a jazz head) for it.i appreciated the touch.

The only Peas I choose to remember... I remember when Taboo was a poplock dancer on stage for a group we beat in a rap talent contest in Hollywood back in 95

I didn't like them when they was on that wierdo ? ...I dislike them less now, tho
They ain't making hip hop, they make pop records with a hip hop influence
Why don't you make threads about music you actually like

The comments he made to Tyler the creator sum up his mind state inside the music biz.

so they sold out to a genre that never gave a ? about them in the first place????

blame the white girl Fergie

I can't blame them cause when they were doing real hiphop music, nobody gave a ? about them.
