Sure, if there's some other male/masculine role model in their lives -
? that @beam is correct.
Society dictates "man"/"woman" gender roles and they interaction between them.
Not true. Nature does, just like it dictates the roles of every gender of every other animal on the planet -
the word "man" is open to such vast interpretation...but going by the traditional role of a man in western culture, a man is a provider and leader who exhibits strength, courage and integrity....characteristics, qualities that aren't gender specific. with that said, i don't see why a woman wouldn't be able to successfully raise a man.
however if you take into account the biological differences that do exist between men and women, it will be a little hard when the boy reaches puberty but not impossible....not in the least bit
and gender identity does not automatically follow from biological sex, consider young transsexuals
both biology and environmental, societal forces play large roles in shaping gender and our gender roles....more so environmental, societal forces...or in other words, raw material of gender is provided by the nature/biology and culture is the architect constructing it
just look at how gender roles have shifted the last 50, 60 years here in america

It takes a village to raise a child.

Some men wont be ? regardless of who raises them. So no, I don't believe that.
-
Psychologically speaking,
the differences between men & women are "traits & characteristics" deeply ? and perpetual over a course of centuries of expectations from society
and the vast majority of people (consciously and subconsciously) abide what's expected of them
(hope that made sense)
Most of it is social vs biological. -

Man the grammar...
it's intentional
a few months ago she caught major backlash from Conservatives over a MSNBC promo
for promoting ideal that kids "belong" to the community not just their parents. So it's up to the community to come together and be more proactive in the better of the children.
Well Conservatives took that as her meaning that a person's kid literally do not belong to their parents
but to the community aka The State aka "DA Guberment" ....
No seriously..........

Women cannot raise boys into ideal men. Women can never understand our instincts so they cannot teach boys how to deal with them.
