The next movie from Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old ? director Judd Apatow is entitled Train Wreck.
Vulture reports the film will be written by stand-up comedian Amy Schumer, who will also star. Apatow is set to direct and produce.
All that has been revealed about the story so far is that it's about a woman (Schumer) trying to rebuild her life.
Schumer, a former Last Comic Standing contestant, recently debuted the comedy sketch show Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central. Most of her work on-screen includes one-time roles on 30 Rock, Louie and Girls, though she had a recurring role as Trish in the 2012 season of Adult Swim's Delocated.
Apatow is known for taking up-and-coming comic actors -- Seth Rogen and Jason Segel, for example -- and guiding them into mainstream consciousness. The style of comedy Schumer utilizes in her Comedy Central show fits neatly with the Apatow brand, so it's easy to imagine why he would want to help boost her career.
