January 29, 2014 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A federal lawsuit is filed against eight Chicago police officers accusing them of civil rights violations.

They allegedly conducted open-air strip searches during a stop last May in the 9000- block of South Laflin.

Caprice Halley, Tevin Ford and the estate of Robert Douglas filed the lawsuit. It also says Douglas and Halley were falsely charged with delivery and possession of a controlled substance.

A spokesperson for the police department says they haven't seen the lawsuit and cannot comment.
