Yeah, I like @supersoaker "less is more" approach. He's been riding with that strategy since day one. I feel like I'm in a art museum when looking at @icebergtaylor work. He does a good job at staying true to his label's identity too.

Future sale: Iceberg – probably one of the easiest categories to judge, Jay could practically outsell the entire NRA roster by himself. Soaker has Lauryn Hill who, with the right project (not sure Leeza the Vilified American Super-Hero would be the one) could put up some big numbers, and Kendrick and Lupe could definitely do good things here too, but they aren’t seeing Jay, and I also believe Iceberg’s second tier will do better numbers than Soakers.

    Future critical acclaim:
Supersoaker – at first this one seemed quite easy, the talent is better at one label imo, but Iceberg put some amazing tracklist/covers together. Pusha could definitely deliver a classic, especially with the concept of the album, I could see the Currensy projects doing good with the critics, and Wale just might be able to win over those people with the kind of project Iceberg has planned.
On the other Soaker really got creative with his stuff, I belive I mentioned it in his last round, but I absolutely love the Jay Rock and AB-Soul projects, I can easily see those to get highly acclaimed. The Lupe trilogy is also a potential classic, something critics would eat up, and even with the somewhat cliché title of the Kendrick album, the tracklist looks very promising, and it’s Kendrick, it will almost certainly be dope. And while the Lauryn Hill album might come off as a little too abstract for the average fan, it looks like something the critics would love.
In the end it comes down to the lesser known acts on the two labels. While I could see pretty much everything on NRA get critically acclaimed, I can’t say the same for RRR, with people like Juelz Santana, Iggy A and Jhene, and that drags the overall score down, even though not all of them has released on deck.

Longevity: Tied – This one also seemed easy at first, but the more I look at it the more even it gets. NRA is pretty much filled up with young hungry emcees ready to make a name for the self, sprinkled with a Lupe who still should have something to prove.
RRR doesn’t really hit you in the face out the same way, so to speak, but the roster could definitely be beneficial here. Pusha, Lloyd Banks and Currensy have all proved they have what it takes, but they haven’t hit the point where they could relax a bit and make subpar music, which forces them to continue to make dope ? . RRR could also be the place where Wale really grows into a superstar, as I briefly touched upon in the previous category, which would give him some renewed inspiration. And lastly we have Jay. At first I would say he has served his time, and would probably step back from the spotlight, but with the relatively young roster, I don’t believe it to be farfetched he would find new inspiration, and maybe hit a second golden age where he get on a 96-01 type of run.
Both labels have a lot of potential here, and it’s too close to call for me.

Album covers/tracklist: Tied – both came with some really dope work here. I liked Icebergs cover art better, it was overall probably the best work I seen so far in this tournament, it had a common theme throughout, but at the same time it was creative work, and a few of them broke the overall theme, which ended up being a nice change, and kept it from being redundant.
Soaker had the better tracklists to me. It’s not like Iceberg was slacking here though, but Soaker really appears to have put a lot of thought into those, and a minor detail, the song lengths, really appealed to me, and secured him the victory here.
Being the category is judged on two criteria, and they each take one, it has to be an overall tie.

Cohesion: Soaker – another real close matchup. It’s easy to see the thoughts behind Soakers label, but I got a feeling RRR would work really well, with a good mix of rappers and singers who goes well together. One of the things that end working really well for Soaker is the in-house production crew with Digi-Phonics, who can pretty much handle all the production the label needs, and they wouldn’t need to step out of their own ranks to complete projects. Black Hippy obviously secures high cohesiveness, and Blu and Danny Brown fits right into the lane I see the label taking, as does Lauryn Hill.
RRR lacks a little as far as producers go, and has been outsourcing a little more work because of this, compared to NRA. Furthermore RRR has a couple of names that sticks out in a bad way, mostly Iggy Azaelia, and Juelz Santana, and while they don’t have releases on the label, they are still a part of it, and those two ends up costing Iceberg the victory.

    Vote goes to: Supersoaker

Incredibly close competition here, both contestants are worthy winners, but a few details gives soaker the win

I wanted to see Riddler vs Taylor since they had an exchange of words last thread.

I like this match up tho. Taylor's album covers are amazing.

    What site/program do you use?

I use photoshop for everything. The rest is just doing research, choppin up, color correcting & flippin tons of different images. The artists & titles I occupy are crucial to the design. I never work without having the title first.

I just seen these threads. Dope idea in general with the fantasy league ? but this match up in particular is dope. Yall both r creative. Covers n tracklistings that would work in real life mostly which makes it hard to say who's a winner. Tough 4 those of who judge I'm sure.

Future sales: Renaissance Rocafella Records. Jay pushing units, period. I would think his influence alone would bring in higher numbers with his lablemates. Could K.Dot do the same for NRA? I'm not sure. He'll bring in numbers, though. Lol.. Interesting .. Lupe's album is like x3 right? Still going with RRR.

Future critical acclaim: I'm really on the fence here. NRA got the production camp that can create classics for the rappers. I think that chemistry gives NRA the upper hand.. However, we can't overlook the potential of Jhene Akio. I think she's going to be a star soon. Put her around Drake, J.Cole and Wale, and she's going to shine bright and get that acclaim. This match up is tough cause there's so many things to factor in. I'm edging this toward NRA, just because I know how most of those albums would be classic worthy today. I mean, look at Ab-Souls album. Core Hip Hop fans will always remember those projects even if it didn't get the credit it deserved. An album receiving mass appeal does not mean it's classic.

Longevity: Which makes this criteria an easy W for Rocafella Records. J.Cole. Wale. Kid Kudi have made hit records already. All of them, and most of the other artists on RRR are the same age as NRA. The more they work together, the more the chemistry will grow through the years. They'll crank out hits on each project, and possibly start a dynasty.

In NRA, we know the artists he got are talented. But are they marketable enough to top charts? Could they stay on the radio? Stay with hella Twitter and Facebook followers? Throw Jay-Z back in the discussion, and they are grabbing awards over NRA even if they didn't deserve it. Rocafella would be at a height were it would be okay that a particular song out shined a whole album. At least it banged in more whips. I know NRA got Kendrick, but man..it's the General Public who decides who get a picture in the history books.

Album covers: NRA selling cassettes? Lol..Nah, i kid. Did somebody already say that joke yet? I missed out on the last round..

Rocafella Records got the best collection of album covers in this whole game. Berg did an amazing job showcasing his label in a luxurious manner. Each cover just grabs your attention, and make you want to buy the album.

Tracklist: Too bad some of the tracklists ain't that appealing. I think the production credits give NRA the advantage. It's hard to judge against something you know work. I'm not sure how Jay-Z would sound over multiple Mannie Fresh beats. Maybe swap some of those with J.Cole producing? I can't call it. I like Lupe working with Digi+Phonics, with a few collaborations with Jay-Z and production from Kanye. I also like the concept on Isiah's album. It's creative and RRR did the some dope stuff with Pusha's. I'm going with NRA because his tracklist too consistent.

Cohesion: NRA. I think his label was put together the best. He didn't even need the non-TDE members.

This was a tough decision but I'll go with Renaissance Rocafella Records.

I just think @Iceberg put a Championship roster together and deserve that Championship push.

future sales: for future sales i gotta go iceberg, once again with NRA kendrick and lupe may go gold but its hard to tell who else can sell besides them on the label, NRA has more of a label with artist that can achieve underground acclaim but Renaissance has several artist throughout the label known for plat and gold sales

    winner: Renaissance

future critical acclaimboth teams have a large amount of potential for great critical acclaim, im not sure i see a weak link on either side, like i stated NRA has a more underground vibe, and that can achieve plenty of critical acclaim but renaissance can achieve just as much acclaim with its mainstream flavor

    TIE

longevity: once again a tough and difficult category, i can see both teams having a large amount of longevity whether on the mainstream or underground side, on both sides there is an artist that has been around and had a great career but probably doesnt have much longer(Jay and Lauren), but with both sides having several young guns carrying things on their labels, i think this is a

    TIE

album covers/tracklist: like i said b4 NRA has covers that are really good and definitely fit the artist and what they are going for, but as good as NRA's covers were, renaissance were that much better, they fit the artists concepts well and are just so abstract, i gotta give renaissance the edge there but i must ask, whats up wit every artist getting the sensitivity advisory lol. and with tracklists id say both sides are very strong and fitting to the particular artists, i think the jets album is a new addition that wasnt in the last round and i like the tracklist, the tribe called quest vibe seems like something currensy and the jets would do. i would give tracklists a tie but with renaissance winning album covers ill have to go with

    winner: Renaissance

cohesion: when it comes to cohesion NRA once again is rewarded for his selection for digiphonics working with mostly TDE members and several other artists that seem to mesh with them well, not saying renaissance wasnt cohesive, in fact they were very cohesive with producers like bink working with wale and jay, mannie working with currensy, i can easily see chad hugo or dream working with cole or cudi. there were also a couple unique collabs that were put together that may be dope but im not totally sure if they are more cohesive than NRA, such as iggy or juelz santana's appearances on the jets album. overall renaissance has great cohesiveness but i just barely have to give the edge to

    winner: NRA

it was a tough match up to judge but imo

    overall winner: Renaissance
