Lil Wayne Hits The Studio With Mannie Fresh To Work On “Tha Carter 5”

Charles Pettaway, who is a music producer and song-writer, shared a photo today of him in the studio with Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh working on the upcoming Tha Carter V album. The studio session took place from last night to early this morning in Atlanta, Georgia.

Since Tha Carter dropped back in 2004, Weezy F Baby has not rapped over any Mannie beats on his official albums, so it would be crazy to see Mannie Fresh production on C5.

? think that's feelings. That's being realistic. I ain't just start ? with Cash Money since Tha Carter II. I been a fan of Cash Money since the beginning. And if it wasn't for Mannie, Cash Money wouldn't be what it is today.
Aight answer me this. Would Cash Money be as big if it just started with Wayne right after Mannie left? Wayne was on that New York tip hard. Always referencing the Roc and Dipset on his mixtapes. I respect Cash Money for the longevity and because its homegrown for me so I'm a little biased there. Just calling it like it is.
