Does this site market/place ads based on geographic location? I just saw a banner for MIchael Jackson and started wondering, because as opposed to naming the university which would be much more recognizable for most not familiar it names the actual name of the venue. Does everybody see this banner for the MJ The Immortal ? ?

I'm pretty sure the Ad companies choose the ads based on your location, search/web history, & etc .

So you haven't seen the MJ The Immortal banner? Yeah that's exactly what i was thinking, because this is the first time I've seen an ad on here that seemed like it was directly relative to me in the presentation of it, usually it's some broad ? . -
Yeah I stay adblock'ed up. Shoot, the first thing I do when using the computers in class is install adblock software.

Google Chrome. Ad Block Extension. I haven't seen an ad in years.

Ablock and NoScript on deck... never seen an ad and removed that ? ass complex bar from the bottom of the page.
