..had what you would call a genuinely close friendship with a white woman?

When I was a kid, yeah. We were too young to really worry about racism (8 or 9). My mama shut that ? down after she found out her mama had a live in girlfriend, then not too long after that she moved to Kansas.
Now that I'm older I haven't found a non-racist white woman. They usually fall into one of these categories:
1: obviously racist af
2: white guilt having ass poser
3: think she's black/down because she ? black dudes
4: says low key racist ? that will get her ass shmacked in a heartbeat
5: have those strange anxiety issues that I just cannot deal with...? go find some chill
or a combo of the above -

When I was younger yes but now there is always some distance
I had one 'friend' who thought it was okay to call blacks colored.
I had one 'friend' who was told by her husband that their kids would have no more playgrounds to play on because Obama was now president. That this black president is ruining their whole way of life.
Countless other as Thot put it low key racist statements and I don't have time or patience to explain why this line of thinking is wrong, especially when it usually falls on deaf ears.

I've lived around majority white people when I lived in Minnesota and Washington state...
I had a few white friends but was only really close with 3.
I still have love for them because of who they are as people. They never tried to be anything more than what they are. They introduced me to their world and I did the same for them and we remained culturally intact.
We used to clown each other about our differences but we were already outcasts from our school so it just made our bond tight.
I still visit my 2 friends in Washington, but I'll be damned if I ever go back to Minnesota.
The white girls in Chicago are either the rich snobby kind ( usually found up north), the wanna be black kind (downtown, south burbs), and any white ? the south side of Chicago is either a ? head or the family member of one... -
1 but it's mainly out of convenience cuz we've known each other since we were kids.
unless she's really on some progressive ? or just chill as ? i couldn't see myself being real friends with a white chick...i'm in norcal & saying slick racist ? (including ? ) is par for the course for non blacks out here. that's not something i'll tolerate to be cool with you so more than likely we'll just remain acquaintances. -

So as for the reasoning behind the thread..this is something I've wondered for awhile.
I've had black women in my life since before I even ? with a black dude. My first work buddies at my first adult job were black women..usually older women, but there was one female my age that I considered a genuinely close friend. We were both on our own back then and there was even a time she fronted me some cash so I could pay my light bill, which was a gesture that has obviously stuck with me through the years.
But even back then I still wondered if she could ever feel the same way about me as I felt about her (no ? ) and some of the reasons you ladies have provided were the reasons for that.
I'm a loyal friend, but can a Black woman ever fully trust a white woman? Does she feel she can relate to her on any level?
Friendship requires a fair amount of trust, as with any relationship, and without it I don't feel like the relationship can be genuine.
