Real Talk. He wrote about half of it, maybe even 3/4 of it. I know he wrote for Dre and Eazy. Not sure how much MC Ren wrote. But the reason I say this is Cube's best album is because the production is perfect. The samples, the scratching and the sonic quality make this Cube's finest work.

mc ren wrote a lot for the album as well. if u give credit to ice cube as a solo album then yes it would be his best work ever. i consider it a group effort though. i would need for dre and ren and yella to say it was cube project.

Cube, DOC wrote the majority of the album with Ren contributing

The production on Strait Outta Compton is better than any of Cube's solo albums, including the one the Bomb Squad produced. I've been thinking this over, When the Bomb Squad produced It Takes A Nation of Millions, they had a lot of records to sample from. But as they did the Fear of a Black Planet and Amerikkkas Most Wanted album they ran out of samples. That's why Fear of a Black Planet and Amerikkkas Most Wanted don't have the same magic as It Takes a Nation of Millions.... Their crates weren't as deep as say, Premiere, Q Tip or Marley Marl.
