Is Lil Wayne Working On A “Dedication 6” Mixtape?
Even though he is still recording Tha Carter V, it looks like Lil Wayne has already started work on a Dedication 6 mixtape. Derek Medina, who was with Wayne at 2AM last night for a skateboarding session, uploaded the photo above on his Instagram page with the following caption:
Not even done with #carterV and workin’ on dedication 6 #theyhavenoidea #neverstopjumpingfences #skatelife #skateboarding
Derek was also invited on Weezy F Baby‘s America’s Most Wanted music festival last summer, so I think it’s fair to say that he is a good enough source and not a troll.
If I had to guess, I would expect Tune to announce the D6 project soon and release it this summer. Then he can finish his C5 album and look to drop that at the end of this year, or early next year!
