A man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after he was stabbed in the back at a Queens McDonald’s, authorities said.

Emergency workers were called to the fast food restaurant at 91st Ave. and Sutphin Blvd. in Jamaica around 9:55 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

A man in his 50s was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in serious but stable condition, cops said.

Witnesses said the man was standing in the street with the knife sticking out of his back after he was stabbed. An NYPD spokesman said it wasn't clear if the stabbing happened inside or outside the restaurant.

"I don't know if he was in shock or what the situation was, but he was fine! It was like, 'Just another day in the hood.'” a worker from Sutphin Blvd. who asked to remain anonymous said. “It was crazy!”

"It's always rowdy over there because you have all the methadone people," the witness said.

Sean Smith, of Queens, said the stabbing was in retaliation for a robbery that took place two days ago on "the strip" on Sutphin. He also blames drugs.

As you can see, the strip is filled with crackheads, so it has to do with that," he said.
