It baffles my mind how Hollywood make Bible stories from Egypt and middle east always manage to put all white people in an African setting.

It makes it more relatable to the people they are trying to sell to.
Western christianity has always shown jesus as white since the roman days, maybe before that. If they changed it for the movie it would cause a big backlash unfortunately regardless if it was historically accurate or not. Messed up world. -

Egypt is kinda like America.... right now theres a bunch of people living in the u.s. that aren't original inhabitants. we mixed..spread out and now reflect a combination of a bunch of cultures that u wouldn't have seen in the 1300s
