Here's how it works. In this thread we will vote and debate who the top 10 NBA players of all time are and eventually conclude with a consensus top 10 by simply voting players in these positions from 1 down to 10. We'll start today with number 1 and work our way down the list. When a player is added to the list I will replace him with another worthy of that slot. You can choose to nominate a player to be added to the mix in your comment.

1.Michael Jordan
2.Kareem Abdul Jabbar
3.Magic Johnson
4.Bill Russell
5.Kobe Bryant
6.Larry Bird
7.
8.
9.
10.

I made a mistake, and voted shaq, but i'd

Id say Hakeem, cause Hakeem dominated Pat, Shaq, David, Alonzo, Dikembe, Rik Smit, Brad Daugherty.. he played in the best era of bigs, and he reigned supreme.
He proably had the weakest team of all the bigs i name.

I was gonna vote shaq, cause hes the most dominant force EVER!!!!!
but who the ? did he dominate tho?
Vlade Divack, Yao Ming, Micheal Olwakandi, Kwame Brown, Brad Miller, Micheal Bradley....??????
Shaq started dominating, when all the other great bigs deteriorated, either from old age like Pat, Dikembe, and Keem, or injuries like Zo & Brad Daugherty ...

I know we was young but Shaquille gave Dream that work in the finals.

He was only in his 3rd year too.

I hate the misconception that Dream destroyed Shaq in Finals like he did DRob in the WCF or Ewing in 94' Finals (to an extent) even Shaq goes out his way to throw overly humble comments about it... It came down to Dreams teammates stepping up and Shaqs not, to me that was Dream having better leadership at the time and a more experienced squad

Dream is the best center left on the board...was a better defensive player than Shaq and Chamberlain, and more skilled offensively

Defense only gets you so far, look at the Bulls and Pacers these past couple seasons... He never played with another HOF type player like Hakeem did with Clyde (plus Barkley/Pippen) DRob with Duncan, Mutumbo with Ai ect...

It wouldn't be an "All Time" list w/out the greatest players of "All Time". Maybe you should make a list of "Greatest Players That You've Actually Seen Play". Just a thought.

    What?

Barry = better scorer, better passer, better outside shooter and better overall... He took a top 10 team ever the 1967 Sixers to 6 games by averaging 40.8 ppg in the finals, that included 55 points in game 3.... He also carried GS to their only title in 1975 while Dr.J was getting sonned by Bill Walton and Magic dolo when Kareem was hurt plus he needed Mosses to carry him to a ring...
