Here's how it works. In this thread we will vote and debate who the top 10 NBA players of all time are and eventually conclude with a consensus top 10 by simply voting players in these positions from 1 down to 10. We'll start today with number 1 and work our way down the list. When a player is added to the list I will replace him with another worthy of that slot. You can choose to nominate a player to be added to the mix in your comment.

Oscar RobertsonThis is turning out to be the most "unique" top 10 of all time that I've seen. The top 3 spots are the usual top 3(maybe not that order) but the rest is quite "unique".

Shaquille O'NealKobe at #5 is looking crazy. Russell over Wilt is crazy. But no one would have been satisfied with the list regardless of outcome.
But since this happened, Shaq is a no brainer & so is Bron. Duncan & Hakeem fighting for the #10 spot & I'm leaning towards Hakeem. -

Wilt and Russell have own multiple championships. Big O only has 1 and he was 31 and was playing with Kareem.. again no disrespect but the aforementioned guys are all have won multiple championships in far more difficult eras.

Shaquille O'NealBut O at least has one tho. O aint win a chip without Kareem, but everybody had somebody. MJ aint win without Pippen either. Bron aint win without Wade. Wilt only has two rings. That ain't much of a difference.

Lebron JamesThere's a difference in playing with Pippen and Wade and playing with KAJ. It was looking bad for O before Cap got their and took that team to a whole new level. Like I said he was 31 and I doubt he would have won a ring without him. Can you really say the same for MJ without Pippen or Lebron without Wade? Doubt it..

Yup -
At his peak, the only person who was more unstoppable than Hakeem in this modern era (80s to now) imo was Jordan.
