In this thread we will vote and debate who the top 10 NBA players of all time are and eventually conclude with a consensus top 10 by simply voting players in these positions from 1 down to 10. Lists like these never work cuz you have to define what makes one player "greater" than the other.

Are we talking stats? Rings and their specific impact on getting them? Off court ? ? Physical ability? Awards?

Got to set a standard of judgement.

Hakeem was the king of the hill, during the golden era for big men. He went toe to toe with Kareem, Shaq, Pat, Zo David, Dikiembe, etc.
Bill and Wilt played when there was only 4-8 teams . And they barely was letting ? in until the 70's. Them guys was dominating crackers, look how corny white players look now, imagine back then?
