Nightbringer
Main article: Nightbringer (Novel)
After replacing his former Captain and mentor, Idaeus, Captain Uriel Ventris embarks on his first mission, to the planet Pavonis with the 4th Company of the Ultramarines. Beset by doubt in his abilities, alien foes and traitorous opportunists, Ventris must battle against them all if he is to defeat an ancient horror soon to be awakened.
Warriors of Ultramar
Main article: Warriors of Ultramar (Novel)
A Tyranid splinter fleet is heading towards the planet Tarsis Ultra, consuming everything in its path. Captain Uriel Ventris and the Fourth Company of the Ultramarines, called to honour an ancient debt, along with brother Space Marines of the Mortifactors Chapter and the Imperial Guard units are the only ones standing in their way. Uriel must decide whether to act by the code set down by the Codex Astartes or against it, if he is to succeed against the alien threat.
Dead Sky, Black Sun
Main article: Dead Sky, Black Sun (Novel)
Captain Uriel Ventris and Sergeant Pasanius Lysane have been exiled from the Ultramarines Chapter for breaching the Codex Astartes during the events on Tarsis Ultra; Sent on a Death Oath by Marneus Calgar to atone for their transgression, they are taken captive by a Daemon known only as the Omphalos Daemonium, and transported to the Iron Warriors' Homeworld of Medrengard. Trapped within the Eye of Terror, Ventris and Pasanius must garner all of their courage and strength if they are to regain their honour and survive against the forces of Chaos.
The Killing Ground
Main article: The Killing Ground (Novel)
Ventris, Pasanius and the Unfleshed find themselves apparently stranded on the world of Salinas; their presence seemingly fanning the flames of a local rebellion into a heretical fire that threatens to consume everything and everyone. The warrior brothers must fight one more time before being able to return to Macragge, but this is a conflict where sympathies are divided and it isn't quite so easy to see who stands among the righteous.
Courage and Honour
Main article: Courage and Honour (Novel)
Newly returned from the Eye of Terror, Captain Uriel Ventris must redeem himself in the eyes of his battle-brothers, who fear he may have been tainted by Chaos. When the planet Pavonis is invaded by the Tau Empire, what better opportunity could Uriel have to join his Chapter in combat and prove that his honour is beyond reproach?
The Chapter's Due
Main article: The Chapter's Due (Novel)
Seeking revenge against Uriel Ventris, Iron Warriors Warsmith Honsou assembles an enormous warband and invades the region of Ultramar, in league with the Daemon Prince M'kar. The entire Chapter must mobilize for war, to prevent Ultramar from being laid to waste, and Chief Librarian Tigurius predicts that Uriel will play a crucial part in the battle's outcome, for good or ill.

If you like your protagonists evil, they don't get much worse than this.
Dark Apostle is basically a slaughter-fest, as the Word Bearers are on the world of Tanakreg, currently ruled by the Imperium, and lay waste to the planet easily destroying the PDF forces entrenched there. However, the Word Bearers Dark Apostle Jarulek has more than just slaughter in mind, and sets the enslaved citizens of Tanakreg to work building a tower that stands several kilometres high off the ground. However, time is running out for the sons of Lorgar. Can the Word Bearers accomplish their tasks before the Imperial forces arrive to reclaim the planet?
Dark Disciple picks up where Dark Apostle left off, and follows the footsteps of new Dark Apostle Marduk. The Word Bearers this time find themselves driven to a world of the Imperium that is about to become overrun by Tyranids. Thrust right into the action again,
Dark Creed, the Word Bearers find themselves journeying to the Imperial Subsector, Boron’s Gate, protected by the White Consuls Chapter in order to aid Warmaster Abaddon’s Black Crusade. Marduk has control of the Nexus Arrangement, a Necron device that can help the Word Bearers defeat the Imperial forces guarding Boron’s Gate. However, just as victory is for the taking, the Chaos Space Marines run into a powerful, ancient enemy that might be too strong even for the Word Bearers to defeat.

I was bout to say 1984 by George Orwell but it turns out they made one already with British actors. Bout to check it out and see if it lives up to the novel -
I doubt it would ever happen because Jesus freaks would be up in arms but Lamb by Christopher Moore would be hilarious as a movie
The birth of Jesus has been well chronicled, as have his glorious teachings, acts, and divine sacrifice after his thirtieth birthday. But no one knows about the early life of the Son of ? , the missing years —except Biff, the Messiahs best bud, who has been resurrected to tell the story in the divinely hilarious yet heartfelt work “reminiscent of Vonnegut and Douglas Adams” (Philadelphia Inquirer).
Verily, the story Biff has to tell is a miraculous one, filled with remarkable journeys, magic, healings, kung fu, corpse reanimations, demons, and hot babes. Even the considerable wiles and devotion of the Saviors pal may not be enough to divert Joshua from his tragic destiny. But theres no one who loves Josh more —except maybe “Maggie,” Mary of Magdala —and Biff isnt about to let his extraordinary pal suffer and ascend without a fight. -
@ Trashboat --- the 1984 movie wasn't bad, but it's old as hell (black & white picture). It was made in like 1956

Just a good ass hood story with a good message.
Yoshi is young, fine, and larcenous. She lives her life playing on men’s hearts as well as their pockets. She learns the hard way that all that glitters isn’t gold. Billy, a former high school basketball star, is at the end of her rope with the opposite sex. To her, all men are dogs, so she secretly seeks comfort in the arms of women, until she meets a man who makes her reevaluate her feelings. Reese is an around-the-way chick, trying to keep up with the Joneses. There’s a revolving door on her bedroom as she tries to find the love she always felt was missing. Her promiscuity leaves her pregnant from a one-night stand and Reese is faced with the task of breaking an age-old cycle, passed down from mother to daughter in her family, and standing on her own. Rhonda is twenty-something with three kids, by three men, and riding the system all the way to the bank. To her, work is a ? word; between the multiple checks she gets from the government, and the games she plays with men, she’s living the life of a ghetto superstar. The game soon turns ugly when one of her “sponsors” snaps and decides to get some payback.
Harlem has never seen four friends as scandalous as these. The neighborhood will never be the same again. -

Dana, a modern black woman, is celebrating her twenty-sixth birthday with her new husband when she is snatched abruptly from her home in California and transported to the antebellum South. Rufus, the white son of a plantation owner, is drowning, and Dana has been summoned to save him. Dana is drawn back repeatedly through time to the slave quarters, and each time the stay grows longer, more arduous, and more dangerous until it is uncertain whether or not Dana's life will end, long before it has a chance to begin.
