The Knick is a television drama series on Cinemax directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Clive Owen. It looks at the professional and personal lives of Dr. John W. Thackery (played by Owen) and the staff at New York's Knickerbocker Hospital ("the Knick") during the early part of the twentieth century. The series was created and written by Jack Amiel and Michael Begler, who also function as producers and executive producers. Gregory Jacobs, Clive Owen, Steven Soderbergh, and Michael Sugar (Anonymous Content) are also executive producers. Michael Polaire is the producer and David Kirchner is the associate producer. The show premiered on Cinemax on August 8, 2014.

Looks good. I ? with Clive Owen and Soderbergh. And looks like they got a black surgeon in there, that's what's up! Lol, watch it turns out he a nurse assistant or medical janitor.

proably the best looking show on tv
the black is doc is a doc and offically the 2nd lead surgeon but of course in 1900 he is being met opposition left and right.
the soundtrack, clive owen and setting of the show have been the stars to date. -
Dope show just watched the whole season in a week or so. This is very interesting, I like how shows are shorter like in the UK. Instead of stretching out a 10 episode season to a 15 episode season.

Just finished the series.by the last few episodes I was totally engrossed, I wasn't aware soderbergh directed it all, really elevated the whole thing to another level.
The surgery scenes are gnarly as well. -

For those that have hbo and not Cinemax, they're running the first season on hbo for a limited time. I saw the first 2 eps. Wasn't expecting anything...didn't even really know what it was about...? fire tho.

Episode was dope. There's a lot of small details I forgot since the first season, so I gotta either watch some of the older episodes or read a wiki.
That look Algernon (the black doc) was giving to Cordelia and her husband at the hospital groundbreaking was killing me.
Bertie on his HOH with that nurse.
And Lol at Cordelia nearly getting stomped out when she was dropping off the food in Chinatown. -
Yeah very good episode, I already like where this season is headed. I hope the Dr. Edwards vision gets better and that nun doesn't go away for a long time.

Anybody still watching this show, it's still interesting not like last season but still one of the best shows on television.
